Monticello Tool & Die was started by Danny Morgan in 1978 in Monticello, KY. Danny started in the tool & die trade after completing vocational school training after high school and moved up quickly in the trade in the Lexington, KY area.

Even though Danny enjoyed the fast pace of building high precision stamping dies, he longed to move back to rural Monticello and start his own business. The opportunity came up to do just that when one of Danny’s mentors remarked that his company could use another high quality tool & die supplier and it was out of this conversation that Monticello Tool & Die was born.

Over the years, Monticello Tool & Die evolved into not only a progressive stamping die builder, but also into a business that offers many services that helps our customers get more work out the door. As we look to the future, we hope to use ever changing technology to continue to offer services to our customers that helps make them profitable in every way.
